Diamond Bar Psychological is a collection of Independent Therapists who each owns and operates their Individual Practice. We are working together to provide a wider array of services and approaches to better serve you and your individual needs. I respect and appreciate my clients' courage ito seek help and create change in their lives. I view the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the establishment of trust as essential to healing. My treatment plans integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches and is customized to each clients' unique needs. My initial focus tends to be to reduce the debilitating symptoms using evidence-based treatment. I see it as essential that therapy not only improve insight and understanding, but also help to improve my client's quality of life, with healthier relationships and more effective coping skills.

Along with cognitive-behavioral approach, I also integrate psychodynamic conceptualizations and mindfulness techniques in treatment. I work with adults, adolescents, and children across a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, learning/attention, and relational problems. I also conduct psychodiagnostic testing that is aimed at clarifying diagnoses and informing the treatment process.

My clients are given structure and direction that helps to counter feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. I am an adjunct professor at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. I have clinical and research experience in anxiety, trauma, women's gender roles, and cross-cultural factors. In addition, I supervise doctoral and masters level post-graduate clinicians.
