Diamond Bar Psychological is a collection of Independent Therapists who each owns and operates their Individual Practice. We are working together to provide a wider array of services and approaches to better serve you and your individual needs. Please address the therapist individually and not Diamond Bar Psychological as a group.
The initial focus is to help alleviate the emotional pain, and suffering that often overwhelms a client seeking treatment. After the client obtains some measure of relief, I assist my clients in developing greater awareness, insight, and more effective coping skills to manage the challenges. My clients are given structure and direction that often helps to counter feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. My clients are often struggling with the relationships in their lives, whether personally or in the workplace. Focusing on relationships and developing more effective communication skills is often an important area of focus and makes a tremendous difference in my client's lives. I have also had experience with treating court-ordered high conflict families and children/adults with histories of trauma or depression.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children across a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, learning/attention, and relational problems. I also conduct psychodiagnostic testing that is aimed at clarifying diagnoses and informing the treatment process.
I have particular clinical and research experience in cross-cultural factors and acculturation issues in the lives of immigrants and ethnic minorities.
